Gerónimo Rauch is one of the leading musical theatre artists on the world stage, and the only Latin American performer to have played both Jean Valjean and the Phantom in the West End. Cast by Cameron Mackintosh in 2012, he led Les Misérables at the Queen’s Theatre and The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s for three years. Mackintosh brought him back as Valjean for the Les Misérables Arena Spectacular World Tour, from Tokyo to the Royal Albert Hall and Radio City Music Hall. In October 2026 he took the stage at the 40th Anniversary Gala of The Phantom of the Opera at His Majesty’s Theatre, a night headlined by Andrew Lloyd Webber, Sarah Brightman and Michael Crawford. He is the first Spanish-speaking artist to have led both titles in English and in Spanish. In Spain he has headlined Jesus Christ Superstar, Chicago, Les Misérables, Sunset Boulevard, El Médico and The Phantom of the Opera, winning the Premio del Teatro Musical and two BroadwayWorld Spain Awards, and co-produced The Bridges of Madison County. In Argentina he fills Teatro Colón, Teatro Gran Rex and Luna Park. A Sony recording artist and Premio Gardel winner, he released Chapter One in 2024 with songs personally licensed to him by Frank Wildhorn.
